IN MOTION · THE DESKS

The computer club that keeps you moving

PLAY TERMINAL PC CLUB is a 24-station PC club built around sit/stand desks. Play seated, stand for a round, and let the desk remember both heights. Movement is a convenience here, never a rule — you set the pace, the club just makes it easy.

THE ROOMS

Three ways to sit — or not

Twenty-four stations across three layouts. Every desk holds two saved heights, so you can drop from a match into a stand without hunting for the right position. Pick the row that fits how you play tonight.

A row of sit/stand gaming desks, one raised for standing, lime-green accents

16 · Flow rows

Sixteen motorised desks that glide between sitting and standing, each with two saved heights. Lean back for the long games, rise for the tense ones.

↕ 72–118 cm · two saved heights

Standing-only gaming desks along a window wall with cushioned floor mats

4 · Stand bar

A short run of standing-only stations along the window wall, each on a cushioned floor platform that takes the load off your feet. Good for quick, upright sessions.

↑ 106 cm · platform mat included

Two wide ergonomic gaming desks side by side, independent heights

4 · Duo desks

Two wide desks sized for two, so a pair sits side by side and still reaches their own screen, mouse and mug. Heights adjust independently — one can stand while the other stays down.

THE FEATURE · MOVE ON YOUR TERMS

Motion breaks, if you want them

Once an hour, the station can nudge you with a soft five-minute timer — neck, wrists, back. It is a prompt, not a lock: dismiss it and keep playing, or take the ring for a stretch and come back looser. Either way the clock pauses while the timer runs, so a break never costs you desk time. No lecture, no fitness pressure. The club simply leaves the door to moving open, and you decide whether to walk through it.

THE MECHANICS

Built to move, tuned to win

The kinetic part is the furniture; the fast part is everything on it. Here is what sits under the lime.

Desks

72118 cm

Motorised sit/stand range with two-position memory on every station. Whisper motors, no wobble at full height.

Screens

240Hz

Fast, low-latency panels on arms you can pull close or push back as the desk rises and drops.

Graphics

current-gen

Cards refreshed on a rolling schedule so frames stay high across everything the floor plays.

Chairs

lumbar-tuned

Adjustable lumbar support and armrests that follow you from seated to leaning, paired with the standing platform mats.

THE CLOCK

Hourly rates, nothing hidden

Pay for the time you use. Breaks pause the clock, and every height adjustment, memory slot and platform mat is already in the price — no add-ons, no tiers to unlock.

MOTION LOG

What changed on the floor

  1. Desks learned a second height

Every Flow row now carries an M2 slot alongside M1, so a station remembers both your seated and standing positions. Switch mid-session with one press instead of nudging the desk up by hand every time.

  2. A month without a stiff neck

Our last floor survey ran a full month. Regulars who used the break timer even a couple of times a session reported far fewer stiff-neck evenings than the month before. Small prompts, real difference — so the timer stays optional and stays free.

  3. New platform mats at the Stand bar

The standing-only run got a cushioned floor platform under each spot. It takes the edge off long upright sessions and keeps the four window stations comfortable well past midnight.

THE FLOOR IN NUMBERS

How the room moves

A quick read on the club, counted the way we track it: stations you can raise, the height they travel, the breaks people actually take. Numbers, not noise.

0 Stations on the floor
0 Travel from sit to stand
0 Saved heights per desk
0 Refresh on every screen

Counts reflect the current floor. Every station stands, every break is optional, and none of these figures cost extra to use.

IN MOTION · GET IN

Book a desk in three steps

No app, no queue for a card. Pick a slot, set your height, play. The whole thing takes about a minute, and your seated height is already waiting when you sit down.

  1. Pick a slot

Use the form below to choose a date, a desk type and how long you want it. Flow row for the full sit/stand range, Stand bar for upright-only, Duo if you are bringing a partner.

  2. Set your height

Arrive and the desk is already at M1 for sitting. Raise it to where standing feels right, hold M2 to save it, and the station remembers both for the rest of your session.

  3. Play your way

Sit through the long games, stand for the tense ones, take the break timer or wave it off. One press moves you between M1 and M2 whenever the run calls for a change.

REGULARS CORNER

Perks for the people who stay

Come back often and the floor starts to fit you. Nothing to buy up front and nothing tied to money games — just small comforts that reward hours on the desks and time spent moving.

  1. Your row, held

Tell us the layout you like and we hold that station for your booked slot. Regulars get first call on the Flow rows before evenings and weekends fill up.

  2. Heights that follow you

Note your M1 and M2 with the desk once and staff can restore them on any matching station, so a new seat feels like your usual one within seconds.

  3. Hours ladder, by time played

The more hours you clock across a month, the further up the regulars ladder you climb. Rungs unlock small thank-yous — a held row, an early night-block slot — ranked by time on the floor, nothing more.

  4. Newcomers, walked through

First visit? Staff show you the memory buttons, the break ring and the platform mats before you start, so nobody loses game time working out a desk.

ERGO FAQ

Standing, memory, booking

Can you actually play standing?

Yes, and most people do it in bursts. Twenty to thirty minutes upright, then drop back down — that rhythm keeps you fresh without turning a session into a workout. The desk holds both heights, so switching is one press, and nobody expects you to stand the whole time.

Is the break timer required?

No. The timer is a soft prompt you can dismiss and forget, or lean on if you like the reminder. Play straight through if that suits you. It exists to make moving easy, not to interrupt a good run — and the clock pauses while it runs, so it never costs you time.

How does height memory work?

Each station has memory buttons — usually M1 and M2. Set the desk where you like it seated, save M1; raise it to your standing height, save M2. After that, one press returns the desk to either exact position. Duo desks keep separate memory for each seat.

Do I need to book ahead?

Walk-ins are welcome when there is space, but a booking guarantees your layout and desk at the time you want. Use the form below — pick a date, a desk type and how long you need it. Evenings and weekends fill first, so book early for those.

What is the night block like?

Fridays and Saturdays we run late with a quieter, low-light floor. The Stand bar stays open, screens dim slightly to suit the hour, and it is an easy stretch of time for long sessions. Same hourly logic, same included breaks and adjustments.
